Biography

As a partner of the M&A and Corporate practices and head of the Real Estate and Carbon Market practices, Mrs. Horiuti provides strategic counsel to domestic and international clients, focusing on timberland, agriculture, energy, and carbon market sectors. With over 15 years of experience, she has participated in numerous cross-border M&A transactions, asset purchases, and securitization, including complex deal structures such as leveraged buyouts, joint ventures, built-to-suit, and sale lease-back arrangements. Mrs. Horiuti also advises on sustainable projects in the carbon market, particularly involving REDD and ARR methodologies.
